This book is primarily prepared for students and teachers of Geography in the Senior Secondary Schools. It is a basic text on the fundamental concepts, tools and topics in Geography, written for students in Nigeria with view of meeting not just their examination needs but their life practical application needs. The book simplified complex geographic topics in a way that students will need little or no guide to understand them. Illustrations are made using diagrams, imageries/photos and tables with their interpretation done in a simple and direct language. The text followed the current curriculum as reviewed by the NERDC. Special attention is also given to the Geography of the FCT Abuja as provided for in the FCT/Education Resource Centre (ERC) syllabus. The scheme of work and lesson plan is designed in such a way that teachers can employ it in the study activities.
